I need to close bills that have been paid by credit card for monthly from all of last year and this year.

I'm here to help close bills that have been paid by credit card, mberry4719.

You can start paying them using the Pay Bills feature. It lets you enter, track, and monitor bills that are due. And, it allows you pay multiple bills at the same time.

Let me show you how:

1. Click + New.
2. Under Vendors, select Pay Bills.
3. Select the appropriate Credit card account and enter or verify the Payment date. 
4. If you select a checking account, verify or change the Starting check no.
5. (Optional) Select Filter to narrow down the list of bills to view only those you specify. Select Apply when done.
6. Select the checkbox for each bill to pay.
7. Enter the amount of the payment to be applied to the open bill. 
8. Select Save and close.

If bill payments are posted on the Banking page, you can match them to those open bills. QuickBooks will then record the payment on your register.

Upon sharing this, I still suggest consulting with your accountant since this process is affected last year's record. Any changes you'll make in the system will affect the balance on the reconciled account.
