Question

I uploaded a few bills that I needed to log and print checks for. After uploading them they do not show up in the unpaid bills section of my expenses.

The only way I am able to find the unpaid bills is to look up the vendor and pay the bill that is posted under them.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, TreasurerLocal.

Allow me to share some information on how uploaded bills show in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When uploading bills in QBO, it'll show in the For review section or to the specific vendor transaction, not in the Unpaid tab. The For review tab is where you can verify the information and schedule payment or pay later. Thus, you'll need to go to the vendor transactions and then log and print checks for the bills.

Just in case you want to receive bills from another QuickBooks user, you can utilize the Accounts Payable (AP) automation to recognize the vendor details, and QuickBooks notifies you to review the bills from your lists.

I'm also adding this article to learn how to track bills and record the payments in QBO: Enter and manage bills and bill payments in QuickBooks Online.
