I would like to know how to correct a credit card payment that has been entered as an uncategorized expense (that is how the banking feature downloads them.) Thanks!

The Uncategorized Income and Uncategorized Expense accounts are temporary tagging for the bank transactions that have unclear categorizations. You can change the accounts manually as you Add or Match them. You can use this link to know more: Match and categorize bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
