If I buy quickbooks pro desktop from a place like staples, will it also work on my phone?

There is a mobile app for QuickBooks Desktop. However, this is only intended for uploading receipts and bill entries into your QuickBooks Pro/Premier Plus or Enterprise copy.

QB Desktop and QB Online are two different products. You need a computer to install QB Desktop and you can only run QB Online on browsers.
