Question

In QB on-line "Receive Payment" function, why won't it display more than 1,000 outstanding items?

Good day, @bdean,

When you receive a payment, the maximum rows you will have is up to 300. If you have more invoices, use the options at the bottom of the report to find more entries. See this:

Another way of looking for specific transactions, is using the Open Invoices report. This will list all the outstanding transactions of a client within the selected report period. Simply go to the Reports menu and find Open Invoices. Update the date to see all the entries, then click on it to apply the payment.

In QuickBooks, you have the flexibility to modify reports by removing or adding filters to them. This way it's easier to create copies of the report at your own preference. To filter some information, use the Customize button.
