I understand the importance of receiving the payment on time, ARPrecision.
The deposit speed in QuickBooks Payments depends on the product and the method used. The program typically deposits your funds within five business days during the first set of transactions. Once everything is all set, the fund will reflect much faster.
I've also listed several factors that can cause delays:
Weekends and federal holidays.
The time of day you enter and process the transactions.
The financial institution where transactions are deposited.
How long does it take your bank to verify and process electronic deposits?
In the meantime, let's review your current deposit speed. It'll help us determine how long it takes to get payments you process for each product:
Go to the Gear icon and then select Account and settings.
Go to the Payments tab.
Review the Deposit Speed section.
Once done, I recommend checking the status of deposits and specific customer payments. Here's how:
Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
Go to Get paid & pay and select Deposits.
Select the bank deposit you want to review.
If there's an issue with a payment, it won't show up in a daily deposit. You should receive an email from Intuit if there's ever an issue.
Once your payments are downloaded to your QuickBooks Online account, you can start categorizing them. This way, you can keep your financial data accurate.
It's my main goal to ensure you the funds will be reflected in your account. Please keep in touch if there's anything else I can do to help you manage your payment transactions. I'm always ready to help you out.
