Question

Invoices are rounding numbers in the rate column

I'm really tired of QBO rounding rumbers in the rate column on my invoices.  Today I add two items on an invoice with rates of $500 and $427.  The QBO invoice shows the entered rates as: 500 and 427.00.  This doesn't make sense.  Why is it rounding of the cents on $500.00?  It looks totally unprofessional.

Go to Company Settings, Advanced, Other Preferences and check your Number format. It may be the reason why your invoice numbers are rounding off the cents. :)

Hello Western,

The RATE column only displays whole numbers unless you enter the decimals manually or set it in the product/service items. We can review your products/service items to see how their rates are entered.

1. Click the Gear icon and select Product and Services.

2. Look for the affected item and  review how the Sales price/rate was entered.

3. Correct it if necessary.

4. Click Save and close.

If the same thing happens, we can do browser troubelshooting steps to get rid of any cache-related issues. We can use a private browser and check your invoice again. Then you can clear the cache storage of your regular browser if it displays correctly.

Using other supported browsers can be a good alternative, too.

Feel free to let us know how this goes so we can further help you.
