Question

Is there a way to add a line in a statement header below the business name and above the address info?

I'm here to share some details about statements, userdawsonrrt3.

As of now, we can only customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. For statements, the program uses the template generated by the system. There isn't an option to choose a default statement.

To stay updated with the latest news and product updates or improvements, I suggest visiting our QuickBooks blog.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you personalize and add specific details to your sales forms: Customize Invoices, Estimates, and Sales Receipts in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be glad to help you again if you have more questions about managing sales transactions. Just add the details in the comment section.

I am sorry, I misspoke.  I am actually trying to add a line on the Invoice tab (I titled it for clients as a statement).

I am also having trouble getting the invoice to show if they have a balance credit and payments made.  I edited the invoice template and saved as default.  It keeps just printing the standard template.

Let me address your concern, Userdawsonrrt3.

We're unable to add another line to the invoice and label it. You may want to use the Message on invoice or Message on statement field instead.

Concerning the invoice template, let's ensure you've selected the right template so the credit and payments will show. You'll have to click Customize and select the template.

You can check the article CharleneMae_F  provided at the top to guide you.

Feel free to let us know if you have other concerns. We're available 24/7 to help you. Take care!
