Hi there, jhunter7270.

Yes, you use the keyboard shortcuts to help you move around fields and save transactions.

Here are the shortcuts:

  • Press the Tab key to go forward.
  • Use Shift+Tab to go back.
  • From any form, press Alt + S or Alt + Shift + S Firefox and Chrome, For Mac users it is Option + Control + S instead of clicking the Save button

You can also check this article for more information: Keyboard Shortcuts For QuickBooks Online.

I'll be around if there's anything else you need help with QuickBooks. Have a great day!

Sorry, but on my PC Windows 10 Chrome, the shortcut key for the "Save and New" list key seems to be the "Alt-Ctril-S" combination, on 5/21/2019. Thanks for the posting.

This will absolutely help other users who are in need to discover the keyboard shortcut key when saving transactions.
