Is there a way to transfer the amount to be paid in the revenue portion of the budget without making it show as an income? Can we add left over $ from the month before?

You can create a journal entry to transfer the funds. Let me guide you on how to do it.

1. Go to the New (+) button.
2. Select Journal Entry.
3. Enter the Journal Date.
4. Select the accounts and enter the amounts of your journal entry.
5. Click Save and close.

I'd suggest consulting with your accountant so you'd be guided accurately in choosing the right account to use in creating journal entry.
