You need to use a 3rd party app (e.g inventory management app, manufacturing app) to integrate with QBO. Otherwise, consider switching to QB Desktop Premier.
It's nice to see you here, @sunriseseeds7376. I'll be happy to share details about creating a sales order in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I can see the importance of creating sales orders in QBO to keep track of pending customer orders and convert them to invoices. However, this feature is currently unavailable in the program.
Go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
Click New Style and choose Estimate.
Go to the Content tab and rename the Form names to Sales Order.
Select Done.
When finished, utilize the template when creating estimates.
While the ability to create sales orders in QBO is unavailable, we encourage you to send your valuable insight to our software engineers. This way, they can review your suggestion and consider including it in our product updates in the future. To do that, Go to the Gear icon, select Feedback, and enter your feature request.
After processing a payment from your customer, record it in QBO to mark the invoice as paid. This way, it won't show as overdue on reports and balances the account affected.
Let me know whenever you have clarifications about creating an estimate. I'll be happy to explain further. Stay safe and have a great rest of the day!
