looking for a little help navigating.....how do I validate an underlying JE when recording an expense?

I'm here to help you get sorted out. We can run the Journal entry report to validate your journal entry when recording an expense in QuickBooks Online. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. In the left panel, click Reports.  
  2. Enter in the search field, type a keyword ("Journal," for example). 
  3. Select the Date. 
  4. Click Customize to modify the Filter. 
  5. Run report once done.
