Question

My custom invoice template will no longer allow me to skip a line. If I add one or two lines below each line of services, it reverts right back to single line.

I'd like to help you resolve this, RA7.

We can do some troubleshooting steps to see if this is caused by a browser-related issue. We can open your QuickBooks account using the private browser or incognito.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N

Then, create an invoice using the template. If the line is working, let's go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. Here's an article for the instructions: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

As an alternate solution, try using a different invoice template or create a new one. You can check the steps here: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know how it goes. I'll be around to help you some more. Take care and stay safe.
