Printing Paychecks on non voucher checks (3 up checks)? The desktop pro version would allow for us to print the checks only and then paystubs separately on blank paper?

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I can share some insights about the paychecks printing preference in QBO.

The available paycheck printing preference is: Preprinted Check Stock, Blank Check Stock, and Plain Paper. The preprinted voucher check stock has 2 types: 1 check & stub for your employee, and keep a copy for yourself or give the whole check & stub to your employee. Currently, the option to print paychecks on non voucher checks (3 up checks) is unavailable.

We value your willingness to help us improve our products, so I'd recommend submitting this suggestions to our developers. Sending your feedback online is a big help for us to determine the features that need to be added to our product. At this time, I'll do my part and raise this concern to our Developers so this will be taken care of.

I agree that it is frustrating not to have this feature in Online. We have hundreds of sheets of 3 checks/page pre-printed standard check stock that we used just fine in Quickbooks Desktop Pro. We are still able to use these checks in Online for vendor payments, but not for payroll--it seems completely ridiculous to have to order different check stock for a different feature in the same accounting program... just so the paystub can be printed on the same page?? Obviously the software is able to print to standard check paper for vendor payments, so what is the point of limiting that option for payroll? Is there some kind of loophole workaround anyone is aware of? (Like adding the payroll checks to the print queue after running payroll, then printing them through the "print checks" screen where the other vendor payments are listed instead? I'm quite frustrated on this matter as we have been handwriting each paycheck on our check stock which can be a huge task.

Just an update on Printing 3 pay cheques on 1 page.  Jan 2022, still a no, na-da.

I discussed the same issue with QB online support, tier 2 support, and sent feedback thru QBO feedback.

I got 2 options only, first option is to print voucher cheques with 1 stubs or 2 stubs.

Second option to print on plain paper, but still with paystub.  Cannot print just 3 cheques on 1 page using payroll online.

No work around.  Wish I know before joining QBO.  Also from desktop to online, employee YTD info are Not carrying over in Workforce (where employee get their paystub online).  YTD number stayed with desktop version, so I can only switch payroll at end of calendar year.  for T4 to stay correct.  Switching mid-year is a nightmare.  May be someone here found a work around on Payroll online already.
