Purchase orders show product categories and subcategories for each item. I don't want my vendor to see these. How do I turn that off when creating purchase orders?

We can customize the content of the Standard form so your purchase orders won't show product categories when sending them to your vendors, accounting. We're here to ensure you can complete this task.

Purchase orders (PO) are based on the Standard template. We can turn off the Product/Service column to remove the categories and subcategories on the transaction while printing or emailing them. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Custom form styles.
3. Locate the Standard form and click Edit under the Action column.
4. Go to the Content tab.
5. Select the Table section.
6. Uncheck the Product/Service column.
7. Click Done.

Afterward, create a PO transaction. Rest assured that the product categories won't appear on the form.

Also, once your vendor accepts the PO, you can apply it to an expense, check, or bill to track your expenditures accordingly.
