Thanks for getting back to the Community forum, Wayne. We hear your sentiments and understand the adjustments you need to take because of the new experience with the invoice template.

The revised version of invoicing and estimates allows you to change and personalize your forms as you create them. The form includes the tools you need to modify estimates and invoices. The modifications you make to your invoices will have an impact on all previous and upcoming invoices, and they will be reflected within QuickBooks.

If you have any comments or feature requests for our software developers regarding the new invoice format, you can send them feedback. They might take them into account for upcoming product upgrades. Here's how:

  1. Select the Assistant tab.
  2. Type Send Feedback, then click Add feature

I've also included this article that contains details on categorizing the transactions you download from your bank or enter into QuickBooks: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Kindly reach out to the Community again if you have any additional questions about managing invoices or any QuickBooks-related issues. We always look forward to helping you. Have a prosperous year with QuickBooks, Wayne.
