Hi there, @caryngreenspan. I'm here with all the options your business has available to.

Would you like to turn off sales tax? If you haven't collected sales tax on one or more items, you can turn it off on the Sales Tax Settings page. Doing this removes the Tax column on the sales forms.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Taxes menu.
2. Select the Sales Tax tab.
3. Click the Sales tax settings link.
4. At the upper-right corner, select Turn off sales tax.
5. Click Yes to confirm.

If you've already started collecting sales taxes, you can edit your items and make them Non-taxable. This way, that specific items won't be taxable anymore when you go to create an invoice.

Follow these steps below:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Products and services.
3. Under the Action column, select Edit.
4. From the Sales tax category drop-down, select Nontaxable.
5. Select Save and close.

You can also mark your customers as Tax-Exempt. Here's how:

1. At the left navigation pane, select Sales and select Customers.
2. Click the Customers.
3. Choose the customer you want to be tax-exempt.
4. Click Edit.
5. Select the Tax info tax and select the This customer is tax exempt box.
6. Select a reason for exemption.
7. Click on the Save button.
