Question

The liability and expense side of the billable time and expense does not accrue like it does with the income and receivable side.

Hello,

When I create and save an invoice with billable time and expenses, only the income and receivable sides of the entry accrue, but not the expense and payable side.

Specifically, I am billing employee time to a job with the manual payroll preference in place for QuickBooks Enterprise Suite.

Is there a setting where I can have the expense and payable side accrue at the same time the income and receivable side also accrue?

Welcome to Community @devinswycinsky,

Let me help you with your concern. You can use this method where you can process the Employee's expenses (Wage)and reported on the Job.

When you add the time of your employee's work, add the name of the job in line with it. Once you finish your payroll, it will automatically associate with the Job as an expense.

Once done, you can customize payroll and employees report to helps you manage payroll and keep track of employee expenses.
