I've got some troubleshooting steps so you can make an invoice and get back to working order, thcguy.
If you're using a QuickBooks app, we can refresh the app's data to determine whether this is a data-related problem. Kindly follow the steps below to get started in different mobile operating systems.
For iOS devices:
Click the Menu at the upper right.
Select Help & Feedback.
Then, click Refresh Data and select Refresh.
For Android devices:
Click the Menu at the upper right.
Select Settings.
Then, click Refresh Data and Yes to confirm.
Once done, let's check if you can create an invoice without getting a prompt message. If the same thing happens, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
On the other hand, if you're already utilizing QuickBooks in a web browser, let's access your account in a private browsing mode. This approach helps determine if the issue is browser-related by not using cookies and storing browsing history. Stored web caches can become corrupted, resulting in unusual behavior.
Use these shortcut keys on your keyboard to access incognito mode in different browsers:
Safari: Shift + ⌘ + N
Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: Shift + ⌘ + P
Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
If you can create an invoice without any error message, let's return to your regular browser and clear its cache so the system can restore. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different supported browser.
