Not to worry, I'm here to make sure you can find your vendor invoices right away, @aydiainc!

Generally, when you create an expense, check, bill, and other vendor transactions in QuickBooks Online, it should automatically show in the Expenses tab. To clarify, did you create an invoice transaction instead of a bill?

I'd like to share some information about their differences. An invoice and a bill are documents that convey the same information about the amount owing for the sale of products or services. However, the term invoice is used by a business looking to collect money from its clients, whereas the term bill is used by the customer to refer to payments they owe suppliers for their products or services.

You can check these articles for more details:

Additionally, to make sure you've entered the bill, you can utilize the Audit Log report to locate these transactions in QBO. It shows all the changes made by users. You can use the Filter tool to narrow down the data.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Audit Log.
  3. Set the date range.
  4. Click Apply.

You can also go back to the Expense and utilize the
Filter tool to easily locate the bills.

Here's how:

  1. From the left panel, select Expenses.
  2. Click on the Filter drop-down menu.
  3. Adjust the filters to find the type of data you want.

  4. Click Apply.

For more information about using the search tools in QuickBooks Online, you can check out these articles:

If you still can't find them, it's a good idea to try accessing your account on a private browser and locate them again. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If it works, then your main browser may have accumulated too much historical data, which can impact processes and cause this kind of behavior. To ensure this doesn't happen again, I'd recommend that you clear it's cache. Otherwise, you can switch to another browser if the same thing happens.

Let me also add this article to learn how to enter and pay bills in QBO: Enter and Pay Bills.
