We just started using QB online this week and can’t find how to print an invoice. When I try it prints the payment options and no invoice details. help please

Hello there, hhgreens. I want to share multiple scenarios for us to isolate this invoice printing problem in QuickBooks Online.

 

Turning on the QuickBooks Payments feature enables the online payment methods to display on invoices, including when they're printed. This is likely the reason for the payment options to be visible on the printed form.

 

Furthermore, the print preview in QBO is dependent upon the invoice template you choose. To ensure that the desired invoice information is included, it is important to select the appropriate template before printing. You can customize the invoice itself and choose the desired template by clicking on the "Customize" button on the invoice. See the image below for reference:

 

 

You may also follow these steps to configure the PDF settings:

 

  1. Open the invoice you want to print.
  2. Click on Print/Preview.
  3. Go to the Design tab and select Change up template.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         
  4. Pick your desired template and hit Done.
