Question

When I email an estimate to a customer they only see item numbers and pricing, they do not see the entire description. How do I fix this?

Welcome to the Community, @jeffsservices.

I'll guide you on how customers can see the entire description of the estimate. We can Customise the info on your forms to show the details on your estimate.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon.
  2. Select Custom form styles.
  3. Choose the New style dropdown, then select Estimate.
  4. Click the Content button.
  5. Click the pencil icon, and put a checkmark on Product/Service and Description. (See screenshot below).
  6. Then, choose the Emails button, let's make sure also that the Full details is selected and the Message to customer has been filled out.

  7. Click Done once finished.

After, create again an estimate then try to send it back to your customer and to your end to see if you have the same outcome. If not, your customer may be experiencing some viewing and printing issues.
