I can share a few steps to show the cost per unit or the item rate, Ajuchs.

Checking the Table's Rate box ensures the cost per unit will show when printing an invoice. You can find it when you edit the current invoice form.

Here's how:

  1. From the Invoice window, click Customize.
  2. Select Edit current.

  3. Go to the Content tab.
  4. Click the Pencil icon on the Table section.

  5. Tick the Rate box from the Columns section.

  6. Hit Done.

That's how you can show the item rate when printing your invoice. You can check this by reopening the invoice and click Print or Preview.

For reference about personalizing your sales forms, please take a look at this resource: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

In addition, you'll want to review the changes you've made to the invoice later. I suggest clicking More from the Invoice window and selecting Audit history.

Please don't forget to comment here if you need more assistance with editing your invoices. Anytime I'll be here to help. Have a great day, Ajuchs.
