Why aren't product categories available any more in Quickbooks Online Plus?

I've got some steps we can perform to add product categories in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

We can add categories to group items of the same type and it's available on all QBO versions. In your case, we can access QBO using an incognito browser. Private browser prevents saving cache and cookies that sometimes cause errors when running frequently visited websites. Here are the shortcut keys:

• Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
• Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
• Control + Option + P for Safari

Once done, create a category for your products by following the steps below:

1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu, then select Products & services (Take me there).
2. Tap More ▼, then Manage categories.
3. Select New category, then enter the name of the category. If you need a create a sub-category, select Is a sub-category checkbox and the main category.
4. Press Save.

If it works, return to your default browser and clear the cache. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. Switching to other supported web browsers can also help rectify the issue.
