There are reasons why the amount of your bill increases, Kat5.

It's possible that you subscribe to payroll. It has an additional charge since it's an add-on service of QuickBooks. Another reason is that you had a promotional discounts that have expired. You can check our products and pricing through this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/.

Also, you can review your subscription rates and charges within your account. These are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select Billing Subscription.
  3. Click View Payment History.

In addition, let's check the description on your statement. This helps identify why your bill went high. Here's a reference for the credit card charges come from Intuit.

It'd also be best to contact our Customer Support Team so they can pull up your account. That way, they can review and see the reason why your bill increases.

  1. Go to Help and select Contact us.
  2. Enter Intuit charge in the description field. Click Let's talk.
  3. Choose either Start a message or Get a callback.

Please post again if you have more clarifications. The QuickBooks Community Team is always here to assist you.
