Question

I have been paid in this quarter for invoices dated in the last quarter but they are not showing up on the VAT return, how do I include them?

Hi Selina1,

Here are a few possible reasons why invoices are not included in the VAT return:

  • No VAT or Exempt is selected from the VAT column.
  • Filing frequency is set to Monthly, Half-yearly or Yearly.
  • The Date of the invoice is outside the filing frequency.

Let's open the invoice and make sure to select the correct VAT. Then, follow these steps to check the VAT Settings:

  1. On the left panel, click Taxes.
  2. Click the VAT tab.
  3. Click the Edit VAT drop-down menu, and choose Edit VAT Settings.
  4. Check the Filing Frequency if it's correct.
  5. Click Save.

For more information about VAT, you can check this article: VAT Getting Started.
