We have just purchased and are setting up Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise. We are currently using Sage 50. We will be using Fishbowl to handle the items, inventory, sales and purchasing and will export back to Quickbooks to handle the invoicing and payments. I have done a Sage 50 to Quickbooks conversion and everything worked pretty well except for the inventory items it imported into Quickbooks. I do not really need to import any items into Quickbooks as I will export them from Sage to a csv, modify them as needed and then inport to Fishbowl. Is there a reasonable way to import everything into Quickbowl except the items? Or is there an easy way to get rid of items once they are in Quickbooks. We have about 62,000 items but only about 12,000 are actively used but I will put most or all of the 62,000 in Fishbowl for information use.
