The information /potential solutions did not work at all. I had QB tech support helping on this issue and they decided I needed to install QB 19, which they could not complete (after 7 hours of trying every trick in the book); so I did a system restore back to before the problem started and now my QB 12 is running fine. the mishap probably occurred after a Win 7 update. Tech said I need to update to WIn 10.
