Intuit has always been committed to supporting and lauding the endeavours of Small and Mid-sized businesses. As a leading provider for business and financial management solutions for Small Businesses, Intuit has instituted the QuickBooks Excellence Awards 2013 which recognises innovation in technology adoption and customer centricity across Small Businesses in India.

 Six Businesses were recognized under the following categories:

Business Awards:

Innovative Business of the Year KaBloom India’s first online flower delivery company

Customer-centric Business of the Year NRI Advisory A company that provides financial services to Non Resident Indians (NRIs)

Cloud Savvy Business of the Year F & V Agro LLP A venture that ensures the cultivation of quality produce by adapting best global practices

Business with Social Commitment of the Year Sevamob Ventures A company focused on the transformation of healthcare delivery in developing countries

Accountant Awards:

Accountant of the Year Naresh J Patel & Co A professional services firm that provides accounting, assurance, attestation, auditing, tax, financial advisory and consulting services.

Cloud Savvy Accountant of the YearBalakrishna Consulting LLP A team of Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Cost Accountants and Advocates that have over 20 years of experience in Corporate Law

A few snapshots of the Winners Intuit QuickBooks Excellence Awards 2013 Winners Commenting on the winning innovators, Nikhil Arora, Vice President and Managing Director of Intuit India said, “India has become the focal point of small business innovation and we believe that technology consumption can transform the way Indian small businesses communicate with their customers. We have instituted this awards program to recognize champions in the small business segment who have contributed to driving organizational growth and demonstrated excellence in performance. I congratulate the winners on their outstanding performance.” The awards were distributed in a felicitation ceremony associated with Bloomberg TV India during the QuickBooks Conclave 2013 in New Delhi. The conclave created a platform for industry leaders to debate and share insights on how the adoption of cloud computing can help propel the small business segment in India. The panel discussion and felicitation of winners will be broadcasted on Bloomberg TV in two episodes – Episode 1 will air on December 14that 3 pm IST with repeat telecast on December 15th at 4 pm and Episode 2 on 21st December at 3:30pm and repeat telecast at 4:30 pm. Look out for our interviews with the awardees on the Intuit Small Business Blog in the coming weeks on their innovative approaches to doing business in India.
