In October 2016, our new features include change invoice settings directly from the invoice page, and a date filter for billable transactions. Take a look and let us know how we are doing. 1. Contextual Settings on Invoice
Now you will be able to change invoice settings directly from the invoice page itself. In the invoice page, users will have a gear icon, which when clicked will give you an option to add/remove fields/columns from the invoice form (remember we will not be able to add more fields/columns than that are already available): When you click on the gear icon on invoice page, a panel from right slides out from the right with options for invoicing: From the browser, you can add or remove available fields and columns from the invoice page. If you want to change the look and feel of the invoice (sent to the customer), you can click on “Customise what your customer see” link and go directly to Custom Form Style page:
2. Date Filter on Billable Drawer
Now when adding billable transactions into invoice/sales receipt you will now have an option to filter the billable transactions by date. This makes it easier to invoice based on when the work was performed or expenses were incurred. The filter options available are “All Dates”, “This month”, “Last Month” and “Custom” When you select Custom, you will be given an option to enter the date range and the billable items will get filtered by that date range. You can click “Add all” once selecting the proper date range to add all billable items within the filter:
