What has been the key to your business’s success?
Our motto, “Contemporary in form but traditional in spirit” – This is also the USP of Design Matters!
What are the major challenges in your line of business and how did/do you overcome them?
Once the designs are out they get easily copied – this is one of the big challenges that we face today and there is not much that one can do to in this regard. The copyright laws are not too stringent.
Do you have a mentor who guides/advices you on matters of the business?
My husband and my family have been my support system throughout. They advise me and guide me through thick and thin and stand beside me like my pillar of strength. I could not have done anything without their constant support.
Have you benefitted from the use of any specific technology for your regular operations?
Designing software like Corel, Adobe and 3D max are such a boon. They make work so much faster, easier and presentable.
What strategy do you follow for Customer Satisfaction & Expansion?
Be honest with your work. You can never cheat in terms of quality, prices, and timelines. It will not lead you anywhere in the long run. Be truthful to your work and give it your best shot the customer will definitely be satisfied.
What, according to you, are the top 3 skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
