Featuring Small Business Local Buzz Winner – ISEED

1 min read

At a time when students aspire to work with the biggest names in the business there is one institute that encourages them to start something of their own. ISEED, which stands for International School of Entrepreneurship, Education & Development, is a unique initiative totally focussed towards entrepreneurship education and development. It has been founded by some extraordinary people with deep commitment towards the development of India. Sanjeeva Shivesh, the CEO of ISEED, believes that for a nation to prosper, it needs to instil and build the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in its citizens. But this was easier said than done. Sanjeeva and two of his friends, initially came up with this idea back in 2008 but somehow, things didn’t work out. However, Sanjeeva never gave up on this idea and finally in 2013, with the help of other founding members of the institute, he founded ISEED – a school by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. When asked what made this institute special, he said,“We don’t consider ourselves as a teaching school but more like a doing school. Our job is very clear that in 2015 we want about 20 ventures to come out of my school”. Well Sanjeeva, it’s a great initiative that you have come up with and we wish you all the very best for the future. Over 500 small businesses have taken part in the Intuit #SupportSmallBizIN contest.
