Featuring Small Business Local Buzz Winner – Routofy

1 min read

Travel industry evolved dramatically in the past few years. From travelling overseas to commuting within the localities of a city, ticketing and hiring service portals have mushroomed at a rapid pace. But something was missing. There were no portals that helped people discover the easiest and the most effective way of reaching from one place to another. This missing link shaped the story of Ronak Gupta’s Routofy. The basic vision of Routofy is to figure out the best travel itinerary for its customers. Just enter the names of the source and destination along with the relevant dates and the portal will figure out everything from flight connections to cab services that work the best for you. It also personalizes the travelling itinerary according to a customer’s specific requirements. In a country like India, where connectivity options are a major issue, Ronak believes that his portal can be a great problem solver. Ronak founded Routofy in November 2013, with his two partners Akash and Abhishek. When asked about the biggest challenges faced, Ronak says that constant financial crisis and getting good talent on board are the biggest impediments. With the prize money of INR 2.5 Lakhs, Ronak intends to expand his business by utilizing the money for hiring and marketing. When asked about a piece of advice that drives him constantly, he quoted something truly inspirational “The fool didn’t know that it was impossible. He went ahead and did it!” Our hearty congratulations to Ronak! We hope you keep guiding people and emerge as a leader in the years ahead. If you own a small business as well, join the Intuit #SupportSmallBizIN contest and you might win INR 2.5 Lakhs. Register here.
