How to add multiple users in QuickBooks Online (in single license)?

QuickBooks Online ‘multi-user’ feature allows you to multitask and manage a series of routine accounting tasks, with ease by adding up to seven members to your team and work simultaneously, all with a single login.

Key highlights of multiuser features are:

Give access to multiple users. A single license lets you add up to seven members, who can simultaneously collaborate and contribute to the project in real-time, from any part of the world.
Set the level of access provided. The admin can decide to provide a limited or viewing-only option to unlimited access where members can make changes.
Delegate tasks and track its progress. Allocate different roles, tasks, permissions and clients to each member and efficiently increase team productivity.

Track the progress of tasks. Monitor the status of each task to meet client deadlines.

Make use of QuickBooks’ ‘manage user’ feature using the following steps:

  • Log in to your QuickBooks account
  • Select the ‘Gear’ icon on the top right and click on ‘Manage users’

• Choose the level of access to be provided to this new user. For example:

Standard User: Limited access
Company Admin: similar to Master Admin access
Reports only: Only view access
