I recently started having problems with a credit card bank feed.  I have disconnected the credit card bank feed from quick books and the bank and then tried to reestablish the link.  In quick books I now get "

The account number is already enrolled in direct feed."  The account is, however, not shown as a tile for the bank transaction and is not updating.

I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with the credit card bank feed in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, @JIM224. You can trust me to take the necessary steps to resolve your banking issue.


There could be cached data or temporary files causing the issue. We can do some troubleshooting steps to get the banks updated. Open your QuickBooks Online account using the incognito or private browser. This mode doesn't store cache. Excessive cache buildup in a browser can cause unexpected behavior with the product. You can clean this up by opening your account in a private window.

  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N


If it resolves the issue, you can return to your regular browser and clear its cache or switch to other supported browsers that are already installed.
