Can I have more than one business on quickbooks ?

It would be my pleasure to provide some insights about creating more than one business in QuickBooks Online. 

You can set up multiple company subscriptions in Quickbooks Online. You can either use the same or different login credentials. Each company you create requires an additional subscription. Make sure that they have a unique Company Name and Employer Identification Number (EIN). This to ensure your forms are using appropriate information.

Here's how to create another company account. 

1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.
2. Select Asia Pacific and click Australia.
3. Pick either Free 30-day trial or Buy Now- Save 30% off. 
4. Choose which version you wish to start another account. 
5. Complete the needed information, then hit Sign Up. If the error prompts that This user ID is already taken, hit small sign-in link. 
6. Elect either Continue to create a new account or Sign with a different ID. 

     7. Follow the on-screen instructions to accomplish the process.

I have several businesses set up with one account number.  Do I have to renew the payroll subscription for each one individually?  I got a notice for Little Apple to renew by 6/2 and thought I already did all this.  Please advise.  Thank you.  Chely B

I'd like to share what I know about renewing the payroll subscription in QuickBooks Online.

QBO only allows one company per subscription. With that, you probably have multiple subscriptions for each company since you've set up multiple businesses. 

If that's the case, renewing each subscription is a way to continue the service. As long as you subscribed to the payroll service per company or business, QuickBooks will ask you to renew the service if you would like to from any device you use to log in.
