Hi ghurn,
Generally, our online banking service is working fine at the moment. However, there's a possibility that this issue could occur to a few accounts because of expired credentials, bank maintenance, etc.
Let's check to see why your account stops downloading updates. What bank is this, and did you receive an error message or code when updating your connection?
If you got an error code or message, you can search for it in the Community to find out what it means and how you can resolve it. You can also sign in to your bank account outside QBO and see if there's an announcement about maintenance or notification regarding your account.
If there's a need to check this further, you can download the transactions within the affected period in CSV or Excel file and upload them to QBO. We usually recommend this workaround until we resolve the issues with a bank connection. You can also check out this article for your additional troubleshooting steps: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online? Proceed to Step 3.
It's is our goal to help customers maintain a seamless connection with the bank, so you won't miss any transactions, and you can easily reconcile your bank account. Please stay in touch until we resolve this issue.
