I am getting the above error when trying to update the bank in QBO. The error code says it is because the account may be closed. I have checked in online banking and the accounts are connected to QBO on their system.
How do I fix this issue?
Thanks for posting in the Community, KAD61.
I understand you're having fundamental issues with your ANZ bank account connection in QuickBooks Online. Banking team is aware of this situation and investigation has commenced. With almost all ANZ account types are eligible for direct feed connection, we recommend customers to upgrade to direct feed connection.
To connect your AN bank account to direct feeds connection, you will have to disconnect the existing standard feeds connection first and then, reconnect the bank account. Here's how:
Once done, please allow 24-48 business to activate your ANZ direct feeds enrollment. I would also recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, your account will be added to the affected product investigation.

Hi MelT33,
Thanks for joining the thread. To upgrade your ANZ account with error 106 to direct feed, you will need to disconnect it first. Here's how:
The bank account will disappear from the Banking page.
To connect your ANZ bank account again, you need to click on Link account button and search for the bank. You can refer on this article for more detailed information: Disconnect and reconnect your ANZ Direct Feed bank account.
