Below is a short video on how to edit an opening balance for a Chart of Account in QuickBooks Online.
Note: The above video only applies to Asset, Liability and Equity account types, as they will have the Account History option in the Actions menu. If you want to add an opening balance for an Income or Expense account, create a journal entry against the Opening balance equity account.
