Hi there, beverley5. An ABN is currently required to establish a direct bank connection in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I know you mentioned being able to do this for years before refinancing, but due to current connection requirements, the ABN is now necessary.

However, you can still seamlessly manage your property's finances. Since you do not have an ABN, the best alternative is to manually upload your bank transactions into QBO. This allows you to bypass the direct connection entirely while keeping your records accurate and up to date.

As for your concerns about AI, each AI focuses on a specific area, such as books, finances, lead management, or project management. It works quietly in the background to assist you as you use the product. Please also know that the work done by our AI is added to your personalized business feed, ready for you to review and approve, so you're always in complete control. Your access to the different AIs depends on the products and features you’ve subscribed to.

Lastly, regarding your request for a support contact number, we are unable to provide a direct inbound phone line. Instead, you can easily request a callback or start a live chat through the system to connect directly with our QuickBooks Live Support Team.

Please feel free to drop by the Community again if you have any other QBO questions.
