Is bank feed working?

Welcome to the Community, @Emad_Rizkalla. Allow me to lend a hand with your Bank feed concern in QuickBooks Online.

 

Before we start, can you tell us if you're seeing any specific error messages? If so, you can check out this article for recommended steps to resolve it: Fix specific bank errors.

 

If you're transactions aren't updating, check the Status column against your financial institution to review whether or not there's a known error associated with your account.

 

If the downloads seem stuck, follow these steps to refresh your feed and download new transactions:

 

  1. Go to Bookkeeping and select Transactions.
  2. Click Bank transactions.
  3. Select Refresh.

Once everything is back to normal, you can proceed with categorising your transactions.

My connection with Bankfeeds with ANZ has stopped from 1 September. When i check ANZ account it still shows my Quickbook feeds are active. Should i disconnect my feeds and reconnect

Is there any error code showing in the banking page of QuickBooks? If your ANZ bank account is connected through standard feeds connection, let's update and enter your banks sign-in info in QuickBooks. Here's how:

 

  1. Click on the Transactions, and select Bank transactions.
  2. Click on the bank account, and click on Edit or the pencil icon.
  3. Click on Edit sign in info.
  4. Manually enter your banks User ID and password.
  5. Click on Save and connect.

Then, check if new bank feeds is downloaded. If the issue persist, you can disconnect your current ANZ connection and upgrade it to Direct feeds connection type. 

 

To disconnect the bank account:

 

  1. Under Transactions tab, click on the pencil icon of the bank account.
  2. Click on Edit account info.
  3. Tick box for Disconnect this account on save.
  4. Click on Save and Close.

 

Next, reconnect the ANZ bank account using Direct feeds connection by clicking the Link account button.

Hi 
The first option didn’t work. I had to disconnect the accounts and reconnect. But i had two issues though it connected
1 My credit card account with ANZ is still not working, and it keeps giving an error message that that credit card is already linked, when it is not linked.
2 For the other accounts, it re-connected the accounts but though i mentioned feeding in data from 1 September, it only loaded fore this month.
It’s a bit of mess

Appreciate you trying the trouble shooting steps provided. As for the ANZ credit card account showing an error message that it has been linked. We will have to escalate this with our engineers to perform account refresh in the back ground. 

 

I would recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, one of our care agents can create a ticket for your account and help reconnect the ANZ credit card account. And as well to further check the other two ANZ accounts you have that did not download the bank feeds.

 

Here's how to contact support:

 

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
2. Select Help (?).
3. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
4. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
5. Choose a way to connect with us:
 

  • Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat M-F, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and S-S, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, AET.
  • Call us. M-F, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, AET.

Is bank feed working?

Hi, I did work with your customer support and they cleared my Credit card feed access. I then reset my feed to start again. Unfortunately its been 3 days and the direct feed authorisation is still pending and when i click update account, it just keeps showing updating for 10 minutes and then logs me out.

 

I am getting a bit fed up with this mess now. And i find your support pretty poor

Can you please respond to my last message. After 10 days of fixing my credit card feeds its still not working. This is the error message
