Occasionally (not all the time) a day will be missed from the automatic banking feed. How can I get back to the seamless feed that I used to have and trust?

Hi user64749,

Sometimes, transactions are not automatically downloaded due to the layers of security added on the bank’s website. We can do the manual update to fix this.

Here's how:

  1. On the left panel, click Banking.
  2. In the Banking section, click the Update button.

You can also check this article for more information: What to do if you can’t find downloaded bank transactions.

Feel free to leave a comment if you need more help with QuickBooks Online banking. Thanks.

I am well aware of the Update button. It does not fill in the hole from a week ago.

I have to manually add a whole days worth of transactions within the month that are very much missing from the bank stream. This will include payments and deposits. A Day. At random. You don't understand how frustrating this is. Clients ring and complain that they are receiving statements for accounts they have paid. I am looking through QB and nothing is there. I go to the bank and there it is. A day worth of transactions missing. It makes me question the whole programs trustworthiness.

Hey User64749,

Can I quickly confirm what the name of you client is? I would love to take a second to check things out on the back-end. You mentioned that there was a drop-out from a week ago, is that right?

Thanks,

James
