Quickbooks brining in the wrong bank accout details

I have several bank accounts, 2 are for work purposes and others are personal. I have had one linked up for quite a while to quickbooks with no issues but today I looked and it was filled with personal transactions from the wrong bank account. I don't know how this happened as I didn't touch anything. How do I get it to bring back in the right account details?

Thanks in advance!

Quickbooks brining in the wrong bank accout details

Hi,

My bank is newcastle permanent. I don't know how it changed which account number it is using. And I don't know how to fix it and where to change it.

Thanks for the additional information, @Raych. Let me share some information and a workaround for this matter.

In QuickBooks Online, all transactions shown in the bank feeds depend on the transactions uploaded from the bank. With this, I recommend logging into your online bank's website if there are notifications, messages, or alerts. You can also check if there are announcements about new security requirements. If there are updates in your account number, password, or username on the website, you need to update it manually in QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select the tile for the bank account, then click the Edit ✎ icon.
  3. Select Edit sign-in info.
  4. Update your info as needed.

Once done, you can update the bank transactions and see if they still show the personal transactions from the wrong bank account. You can follow the steps below as your reference:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Click the tile for the bank, then select Update.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting your bank to verify these transactions.

Furthermore, I'll attach here a helpful article to manage your bank transactions easily:
