You can exclude the downloaded PayPal transactions. Then, manually clear the ones that are recorded in QuickBooks so you can proceed with the reconciliation.
Follow these steps to exclude transactions:
- Go to the Banking window.
- If the transactions are already matched or added, go to the Reviewed tab and look for them.
- Click Undo under the Action column.
- Go to the For Review tab and check the boxes in the left-hand side of the transactions.
- Click the drop-down list beside Batch Actions and select Exclude Selected.
Once excluded, follow these steps to manually clear the corresponding transactions in your bank register:
- Open your register and look for them.
- Under the reconcile status column (indicated by a check mark), repeatedly click the box to change the status of the transaction. C means the transactions is already cleared.
