Notes:
- Only administrators have authorisation to manage kiosks.
- Before following these steps, you must set up a Kiosk station. See one of the following:
Authorise a computer
- In QuickBooks Time, go to Feature Add-ons > Time Clock Kiosk.
- In the Time Clock Kiosk Preferences window, select Add Device > Use this computer.
Authorise a kiosk device
- In QuickBooks Time, go to Feature Add-ons > Time Clock Kiosk.
- Select Add Device, and record the authorisation code.
- On the device the QuickBooks Time Time Clock Kiosk app is installed on, launch the app.
- In the Authorise This Device window, enter the code, and select Authorise.
Change the name of a kiosk
- On a computer, in QuickBooks Time, go to Feature Add-ons > Time Clock Kiosk.
- In the Time Clock Kiosk Preferences window, select a kiosk name.
- In the Edit Kiosk window, enter a new name, and select Save.
Assign groups or individual team members to clock in and out
- Back in the Time Clock Kiosk Preferences window, select the kiosk name.
- Select the team members that will be allowed to clock in to this kiosk by selecting all team members.
- Select a group or + to expand a group and select individual team members.
- Select Save.
Hide the team members list
- Go to Feature Add-ons > Time Clock Kiosk.
- Select the kiosk name.
- Under EMPLOYEE LIST, select Hide.
- Select Save.
Hide team member working statuses
- Go to Feature Add-ons > Time Clock Kiosk.
- Select the kiosk name.
- Under EMPLOYEE WORKING STATUS, select Hide.
- Select Save.
Unauthorise a device
- Go to Feature Add-ons > Time Clock Kiosk.
- In the Time Clock Kiosk Preferences window, select the trashcan icon (
) to the right of the kiosk you want to unauthorise.
- In the Are you sure? pop-up, select Yes.
