I've checked the status of the connection issue between HSBC and QBO, Embers00.
Our engineers have identified that the new HSBC login process includes complicated encryption that blocks third-party apps bank feed including QBO. They're still working with the engineers from HSBC to see if there are any options to work around this encryption.

It looks like you have posted the same question on another thread. We're unable to get any updates regarding the HSBC bank connection issue. Our engineers are still working on the fix.
At the moment, the available workaround is to Import a .csv file or add the transactions manually. Note: Your bank might pull up recent transactions once it is fully connected, which may cause duplicates.
Just in case this happens, you can use this article on how to exclude the duplication transactions.
