Contacting QuickBooks Support
Need help or want to deepen your knowledge of QuickBooks? Type your question in the search bar from the (?) Help button in QuickBooks to have the answers appear directly in the help panel in the product. If you still cannot find your answer, reach out to our customer care team.
- Visit the Get in Touch page.
- Use the toggles to:
- select whether you're a small business owner or an accountant/bookkeeper
- select whether you're an existing customer or you're not an existing customer
- Select an option to get in touch with us.
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
- Select Help (?).
- Select either tab to get started
- Assistant: Get quick, personalised answers from the QB Assistant. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can select the option talk to a human.
- Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us, enter a short description about what you're looking for, select Continue.
- Choose a way to connect with us:
- Start a chat with a support expert. Live chat M-F, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and S-S, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, AET.
- Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours. Monitored by agents M-F, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but available for peer-to-peer discussions 24/7.
- Call us. M-F, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, AET.
- From the Help menu:
- Go to Help (?) and select Contact us.
- Or from the Assistant menu:
- Select Assistant.
Note: If you’re using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, tap the + button and select Ask QB Assistant. - Enter "talk to a human", then select the enter icon.
- Select the options till you are prompted to choose a way to connect.
- Select the way you want to connect with us:
- Ask the community: Post your question to the QuickBooks Community or browse responses from experts and other customers.
- Message an agent: Start a conversation with a support expert.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Time, and select Help .
- Select Product Help and search for existing articles.
- If you can't find an answer to your question, select Contact Us.
- Enter your concern, then select Continue.
- Select a way to connect with us:
- Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
- Callback to get a call from the next available expert.
- Chat with us to chatwith a support expert.
