Keep your books accurate by removing duplicate bank transactions. If you spot the same transaction twice in your bank feed, you can exclude it from review or delete it if it’s already been categorised.

If your duplicate transactions appear in the Pending tab, follow these steps to remove them from your active list.
- Go to All apps
, select Accounting, then select Bank transactions (Take me there). - Select the affected bank account.
- Tick the boxes for each duplicate transaction in the Pending tab.
- Select Exclude.
The selected transactions move from the Pending tab to the Excluded tab.
To permanently remove transactions from the Excluded tab:
- Select the Excluded tab.
- Tick the boxes for the transactions you want to delete.
- Select Delete.
Remove categorised or matched duplicates
- Go to All apps
, select Accounting, then select Bank transactions (Take me there). - Select the Posted tab, then tick the boxes for each duplicate transaction.
- Select Undo. This moves the transactions back to the Pending tab.
Note: If you have selected multiple transactions, select Undo, then select Continue. - Select the Pending tab, then tick the boxes for duplicate transactions.
- Select Exclude.
- To permanently remove them, select the Excluded tab.
- Tick the boxes for the transactions you want to delete.
