Intuit Australia Bushfire Hardship Policy

We understand that there are certain events that can impact your business’s ability to run as normal. Life events, such as the recent bushfires in Australia, can immediately change the course of your small business. 

Our priority is to help you get back to running your business. 

How we can help

Our Customer Support specialists will assess each customer on a case-by-case basis, having regard to the Eligibility Criteria set out below.  We will work with customers to identify what assistance may be appropriate in their particular circumstances. 

Assistance may include waiving the payments for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed subscriptions for up to two months.

Eligibility Criteria

We will provide support to small businesses that are located in the areas that the Australian Tax Office has classified as being impacted by the bushfires in Australia. We understand financial hardship looks different for all business owners and will consider each application for assistance on a case-by-case basis.

The sooner you get in touch with us for assistance, the better. Please refer to the contact details above to speak to a member of our Customer Support team.

If you are eligible to receive financial relief, this will be applied to your next due subscription payment. We are unable to refund subscription fees that have already been paid. 

If you already enjoy an existing discount to our normal subscription fees and are also eligible for bushfire relief, the bushfire relief will be in place of your existing discount (not in addition to it). Following the end of your bushfire relief assistance, you will return to your current discounted rate for the remaining duration of the discount period. We will be unable to extend the discount period of any customer who has also obtained bushfire relief assistance. 

Privacy

We take your privacy seriously and will treat any information provided as part of a hardship application in accordance with privacy legislation and the Intuit Privacy Policy.
