I'm with QB self employed. When pressing paid after invoices were received it would come up with a send receipt option and now it does not.
For my job i need to be able to send paid receipts to clients.

May I know if you're getting any error messages when you trying to send receipts to your clients ? If you've received an error saying "Your email isn’t set up for receipt forwarding", I have a fix for this. Let's try sign in your QuickBooks Self Employed account. Then, register the email again for receipt forwarding via the Gear icon at the top of the right corner.

If this works, you can clear the cache and cookies of your browser. If not, you can use another supported browser. Possible that your current browser may have a temporary issue with QuickBooks.
